Some Bruins Trade Rumors

The NHL trading deadline is tomorrow at three o'clock, and the Bruins are expected to make some moves. Peter Chiarelli has said that he would like a top four defenseman, and a top eight offence player. The Bruins did make a move today, but its nothing to get excited about, they acquired the rights to defenseman Steve Kampfer from the Anaheim Ducks, for a conditional fourth round pick in this years draft. Kampfer is a senior at Michigan state.

Right now there are plenty of trade rumors involving the Boston Bruins that I have heard. I keep hearing Blake Wheelers name come up in trades, so it looks like the Bruins are trying to shop him to another team. Wheeler as not preformed to his expectations this year, he is to streaky, and he does not use his body to his advantage. The Bruins have been rumored to be interested in Peter Mueller, he plays for the Phoenix Coyotes. He was the eighth overall pick in the 2006 NHL draft, and he scored twenty two goals in his rookie year. Mueller hasn't lived up to his expectations since 2006, but I think he would fit right in along side of Marc Savard. Another rumor I have heard is that the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Bruins are talking about Michael Ryder. Ryder has not lived up to his expectations since he signed his big deal to come to Boston. The Bruins wouldn't get much for Ryder, it would be either a second or third round pick, if it was to happen.

Bruins fans we will have to wait patiently has the clock ticks down on the trading deadline to see if the Bruins make some moves. Hopefully today's move was not the only move the Bruins are going to make, they need help if they want to make a run into the playoffs this year.
