A Little To Close

Last night the Celtics beat the Knicks 110-106. Paul Pierce did not play for the Celtics last night because of a thumb injury, but even though Pierce wasn't playing the Celtics still should of had a better game last night. It seemed like the Celtics had no problem scoring against the Knicks, the problem was they couldn't play defense last night. But a win is a win, and that is all that counts.

Last night Nate Robinson made his Celtics debut, and Eddie House played his first game in Boston since being traded. Robinson didn't have a great game, he looked nervous out there, and you can't blame him. He is playing in his first game with his new team, and the teams goal is too win a championship, unlike the Knicks, who have no expectations. Also you can't forget that he didn't have a real practice with the Celtics yet, he and the coaches just went over some plays. In Eddies Houses first game back the fans definitely showed there love for him. The Celtics put together a video of House's career in Boston, and put it on the jumbo tron. All of the Celtics fans who were at the game last night gave him a well deserved standing ovation, and chanted "Eddie Eddie". House then waved to the crowed, and to his old teammates. Next on the Celtics schedule is the Cleavland Cavilers. I heard that Paul Pierce is unlikely to play with his thumb injury, and Marquis Daniels is questionable with the flu. So, if those guys don't play, the Celtics will have there work cut out for them against king James and the Cavilers.

  1. I really enjoyed seeing the reception for Eddie House. He helped us win a title here and will always be loved. I really hope Nate Robinson does add some speed as well as defense off the bench. Ray is looking good and KG more like KG, but we still have our work cut out for us.
